Social Media Coordinator

run by interior designer Yvonne O’Brien. Yvonne is known for creating rooms that are understated,

personal and quietly refined.

We are a small established business that offers both interior design services and a high end boutique

store that offers a contemporary style of furniture and décor for both indoor and outdoor living.

 

Job description:

This position is ideal for a young, dynamic individual who is driven and has the ability to manage and

execute a marketing plan in order to build The Private House Company’s brand on all social media

accounts as well as manage the website.

The individual will be responsible for taking beautiful photographs that follow the brands look and feel,

and will be responsible for posting & updating the various social media platforms.

To assist with email marketing, affiliated programs and digital advertising

Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal posting schedule

Research and understand our audience and discover current trends

Create engaging text, image and video content when needed

Help to design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create a buzz around new products/ launches

Stay up to date with changes in all social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

Report on line reviews and feedback from customers & engage timeously with the customers.

 

Job requirements:

 Min of 3 years marketing experience

 Photographic skills are essential

 Proficient in WordPress, mailchimp and flodesk

 Knowledge of interior design industry and retail ( advantage)

 Proficient in Instagram, facebook, pinterest

 Proficient in Photoshop

 Driver’s license

 Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

 

Personal skills:

 Ability to self-motivate and be disciplined

 Friendly and well presented

 Excellent presentation, communication, customer service and organizational skills

 Excellent organization and time management skills

 Attention to details, highly organized with the ability to multi-task

 Able to work under pressure

Senior interior designer

residential and commercial projects.

 
Job description:

To support and participate with a design team in creating functionally beautiful spaces for residential
and commercial clients while using industry knowledge, design experience, innovative design
concepts and creativity, all while keeping The Private House Company aesthetics.


Job requirements:

 Min of 10 years in the Interior Design/ Architectural
 Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
 Draw up floor plans and proficient in AutoCAD and sketch up
 Have knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for high end
residential environments
 Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, colour selections and specifications
 The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with your team, client’s contractors and
suppliers
 Driver’s license
 Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft office and strong administration skills


Personal skills:

 Ability to self-motivate and be disciplined
 Friendly and well presented

Showroom Sales Executive

Location: Kramerville, Johannesburg

Duration: Full time position

run by interior designer Yvonne O’Brien.
We are a small established business that offers both interior design services and a high end boutique
store that offers a contemporary style of furniture and décor for both indoor and outdoor living.

 
Purpose of the role:

The full-time position involves selling our products and marketing our brand to our clients. The sales
person will be responsible for giving exceptional service to our clients and building long-lasting
relationships with them.
Our employees are all team-oriented and pitch in wherever they are needed, someone who is willing
to wear many hats will fit in well.
The sales person will be responsible for assisting clients in the showroom as well as those working
remotely.
Building relationships with our clients is key, to ensuring they are kept up to date with our products
and meeting all their requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Working in the showroom from Monday to Friday 08h30 – 5pm and a couple of Saturday a
month from 08h30 – 13h00.
 Greeting and assisting customers who enter the shop & provide guidance on products
 Provide customers with excellent sales and after sales service
 Taking responsibility for executing all sales and administration functions efficiently
 Building a customer base and getting to know your customers well
 Motivated to reach sales targets


Minimum requirement:

 Matric certification or higher
 Driver’s license
 Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft office and strong administration skills
 Knowledge on pastel is an advantage
 Keen interest and/ or experience in the interior design industry
 Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team displaying initiative and attention
to detail
 Min of 3 years’ experience in the retail furniture /décor industry

 Positive and can-do attitude
 Friendly and well presented
 Excellent organization and time management skills
 Must take responsibility for their work, be a team player, accurate, and have excellent
problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
 Able to work under pressure
